Jasper Hall is a multi-disciplinary artist and producer from Oakland, California. His debut collaborative album, ÆOS, has been described as weaving a “cybernetic sonic texture, rich [with] bleeping and clicks, while preserving the ethnic and human flavor of the beat” (Michele Sinatti, Soulfeeder). Throughout his 10 years of making music he has developed a diverse range of production capabilities, covering all corners of electronic music from Pop to Noise and everywhere in between. He specializes in producing for vocalists, experimental sound design via sampling, and synthesis utilizing plug-ins such as Native Instruments Komplete and Izotope Iris as well as hardware semi-modular and subtractive synthesizers.
Jasper’s intention as an instructor is to tailor lessons to the student, depending on what they want to learn and how deep they want to go into the topic. His teaching style is collaborative, and his ultimate goal is to help students develop their unique style which sets them apart from the legions of fellow Ableton producers in today’s electronic music scene.
