Longing for Daylight was completed during quarantine in 2020 and marks a significant change in style and the most ambitious album yet for Cat Breath. The album features a wide range of sounds with a focus on 80's-inflected TR-707 drums, icy FM synths and clean production. This album cycles through all of the feelings Cat Breath experienced during the pandemic, starting with sadness, through nostalgia and finally hope.
